Seriously, these first two weeks of the Please Remain Calm tour have been lifechanging. Since the first note of that first show in Cleveland, this tour has been a whirlwind. We are so thankful for your energy and for making these sets so special. Our performance at FEST 11 was one of the most emotional and meaningful sets we’ve had to date.
When we made this album, we felt like there was something missing in our lives. There was this feeling of being stalled out and disconnected. This is all too common for a lot of us these days, but I will say, these shows and the relationships we’re building give me hope.
Last night’s final show of this Into It. Over It./Make Do and Mend/Owen tour is not an end, but a beginning. There is something brewing in young people across America and we’re going to go around this whole beaten country talking about it. We will be on the road with Streetlight Manifesto for the next month and we hope you’ll join us.
